Engine Problems in Suburban
We have a 2010 Suburban LTZ that just had to have the engine replaced at 7 years old and 145,000 miles. This seems ridiculous to us. GM/Chevrolet is saying they cannot offer any assistance even though this is a known problem with lifters going bad in 2006-2012 models. Because a "bulletin" has not been issued, they refuse to help with the cost. Has anyone else experienced this and was any assistance offered? I have owned 6 Chevrolets - all I have ever driven - but I'm quickly losing respect for the brand.
