FNG to the Forum
Thanks for the opportunity to be part of this forum. I use these awesome resources for help with my many projects. I just bought a 1954 GMC 5 window. Also purchased a 1998 Chevy 5.7 out of a 3/4 Chevy. Also got the wire harness and all the associated stuff to make this work, hopefully. I was wondering if someone has written instructions on how to ensure the install into an old truck goes well?
I took the motor apart today, by that I mean I took off the wire harness and intake, starter and other bolt on parts. Gonna do some cleaning up and replacement of worn parts.
I'd love to just be able to plug in and run, but i'm sure there are other specific grounding and other power requirements.
Looking for a written instruction for putting the modern motor and electronics into the old pickup.
Any help would be awesome.
