Hi, i got a 2008 cobalt, one of the variable valve timing solenoid, typically they are supposed to be at the end of the valvecover on the passenger side, but there not there, is there another spot on the engine they would put them?

I know it has the 2.2, i don't have a pic i can get this minute, it's a car i was considering buying. went to look at it after watching a video and it doesn't have the 2 spots for the solenoids. The guy was telling me he found 2 sensors on the block he thought might be it but i didn't wanna take a chance.
