Just wanted to throw up the obligatory hello in this thread.
Some time ago I purchased a 1985 Chev El Camino and I really enjoy the vehicle's look and feel. My step-father had one and I liked it then.
I've had it for about 2 years now and it's starting to have some issues. I'm no certified mechanic but most of the time I can figure out what is wrong with vehicles. Fixing them is another matter. I lean on the internet, Haynes and Chilton, and an old friend to get things fixed.
I thought I'd add another resource to my arsenal and sign up for this forum.
Looking forward to sharing knowledge and experiences with the community.
See you around.
