Hey guys, I'm not new to Chevy ownership having owned a 2005 Matiz and my dad having owned a 2006 Lacetti, as well as a 1972 Camaro many years ago, but my missus and I have just bought a 1996 Lumina. It's only the L82 motor, the 3.1L V6, and it's FWD so not my personal end for driving, but it'll do nicely as a runabout!!

I'm a mechanic, and have spent years modifying cars, so the Lumina is going to get a few touches to it too to make it look a bit better (ok, a LOT better!!) and go better too.

The main plans are:

- stereo upgrade over the factory 1.5din cassette deck
- matt black (or satin black) respray
- 40-60mm drop
- redo the interior in black and red
- suicide doors on the rear doors (ok, not so simple, but the missus wants them and they could be kinda cool!!)
