My name is Ron but I go by 'Valley Llama' I drive a 1998 GMC Suburban and a 1998 GMC Jimmy. The Jimmy works well, the Suburban ... most times yes, but yesterday we had a severe loss of power - 1st thought - the fuel pump is dead ... but after coasting to a stop it started right up. Then I found when I turned the headlights on the radio went off. Now the signal and brakes lights are gone too. No fuses are blown - the alternator is putting out 14 volts and I have a garage appointment on Thursday if I can't figure it out by then. I can certainly live without a radio but signals and brakes are important.
