Default Hello all from Charleston, SC!

I recently purchased a 1999 Chevy Tracker 4wd 2dr soft-topas cheap and reliable transportation for over these upcoming winter months. For the past two years I have been commuting to and from work on my 2003 vrod. I know it doesn't get nearly as cold here in SC as other places but still cold enough for certain parts of the male anatomy.
I am hoping to fix this jewel up and have myself a winter ride and then in the spring hand the keys over to my youngest daughter as her first car. My first daughter learned to drive a 5-speed in whats now her 1996 Jeep Cherokee and my youngest will learn in this Tracker.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and am hoping to gain some insight on my new ride.

Well I do what I can and thanks for the welcome!
I have come to find out that finding parts from a salvage yard, anywhere, is next to impossible. Where in the world are all these Trackers? My guess is that they are ending up in the Bahamas, Costa Rica or other places because they sure aren't many on the road and or in anybodys' salvage yards.
If anyone out there has any suggestions on where to find parts for these trucks please drop me a line and let me know. Thanks in advance indeed!
