Hello from Florida
Hello, I have a Chevrolet Silverado from motor trader for more than 10 years, I recently bought a new battery, but literally after a short period of time, year or maybe a little more, I couldn't start. I charged the battery and at first time everything was ok, but then again after a long idle time I need time to start. I checked the battery at service, they told me that there was 12V but not 14V. Is it a generator or something with wires? Or I need to buy a new battery? I didn't have any problems with electrical part. Thank you.

You might have a bad alternator. Should be putting out 14 volts while running. Do you have a multi reader handy?
