New guy here. Hope this forum is as much help as some of the others I belong to for other vehicles. My wife loves her 1997 Silverado 1500, and I'm not interested in spending $$$ on a new truck. So we're going to be fixing things and getting it back to "good condition". It was hijacked by meth heads while on deployment to Qatar (USAF) and they really beat the crap out of it. It's in the shop today getting new leaf springs, hangers and rear shocks. FUN!
