Default Hello from France

Hello
I recently buy a Suburban ( 2010 LT 4WD). It's a huge car for France, but all member of the family love this truck.
The french homologation is ongoing (this is a real pain to import a car from a foreign country in France).
I'm a process engineer and live near Paris (suburbs of Paris close to Versailles).
I like driving cars with V engine. I actually own a Grand Cherokee WJ V8 and a Panther Kalista V6.

Depend on the quality we have 4 different types of gas (+ Diesel and LPG)
SP 98 1,66€/liter
SP 95 1,59€/liter
E10 1,57€/liter
E85 0,7€/liter

My suburban is flex fuel so it's not so expensive to drive this type of car.

did i read that correct e85 is 0.70E liter? If that w as the case in my country I'd boost the crud outta my car and go e85.
In my province....oil country....we can't get e85.

we have 87 octane 89octane and 91 octane a few stations have 94 octane.
91octane goes for $1.60 so not far off France. I assumed fuel was much more expensive overseas. In Canada we are getting carbon taxed to the max.

E85 is possible in hot (Brasil) and mild climate countries (south Europe). Below 5°C it's quite impossible to start the car with 85% of ethanol.
The two options are first to have a small tank of gasoline in the truck (common in Brasil, forbidden in France) or to change the % of ethanol and decrease it down to 50%. The second option is used in France during winter season (a well as the composition of gasoline is also adapted for winter or summer to avoid excessive flashing).
E85 is not adapted for canadian winter :-)

doubt if there is more than 5 e85 stations in Canada. My application isn't winter driving....I run a boosted car...perfect for high perf applications.
