Default Hello from nc cooler/cold weather cruise cont. Issues

2008 Silverado 1500 2wd extended cab lt 5.3 white
last fall/winter I noticed that when it started getting cooler my cruise control would shut off by itself or wouldn't work at all. I read a TSB off of Mitchell and it said to look for aftermarket wiring (i.e. aftermarket stereos, speakers, ect.). If not done right, the addition of that stuff could effect other systems like pwr windows/locks, cruise cont., ect. I looked and chased down a big sub/speaker wire and removed it, but a week or so ago we had a cooler than normal day and I had the same issue, the cruise didn't want to work and when it finally did 2 miles down the road it shut itself off.

p.s. I wish it would've totally disabled the tpms system instead
