Help
I have a 2014 Siverado 4.3l 4wd truck with automatic transmission. I purchase new and have had back to two different dealers for transmission problem. I want to know if others are experiencing this . Transmission slips between shift, engine flares as much as 300 rpm. It shifts perfectly when it is cold, for the first few shifts. As soon as it warms up just a little it slips. This is to the level that sounds like engine is"running away" (300 rpm . Passengers in my truck have said what was that when transmission shifts at times. This problem has been consistently there but random, seems to be different at times. Maybe throttle position/ load idk ? I have been told this is normal, "characteristic " of this transmission. I was a line mechanic for 16 years, if I built a transmission and it felt like this I would have been back in it! Very disappointed with this truck and Chevrolet. I know all about " this is new 6 SPD trans. It has to learn your driving habits, not learning anything. Truck has 10k miles
