hey chevy fans
Hey out there people. I'm a long time chevy owner. Had a beast of a 1979 C20 Custom Deluxe and a pearl-green 1994 C1500 Cheyenne. Since 1999 I've owned a wonderfully dependable charcoal-grey 1991 C1500 Silverado with sportside fenders. Power everything. I love it, because it's been totally reliable for all these years and 169,000 miles. Regular tune-ups and oil changes, a little TLC, and it still runs like new.
I do have a gripe, though. Those sportside fenders are fiberglas. Mine are cracking and missing a few chunks.
Someday I might give it the full restoration, including a spray-on bedliner and an up-to-date stereo system to replace that old cassette player with 5-band graphic equalizer.

Newb
I'm another newb to the forum my name is Tom. Seems like a lot work being done on my 97 Cheyenne C1500 this last year and I've made some mistakes but not too serious of mistakes. I joined here to catch up on any trade secrets or general procedures for repairs I may have missed reading through service manuals and watching videos. Seems like there are different opinions about what is wrong with a vehicle and how to go about effecting the needed repairs. I am here for the tried and true advice from the experts in the field. I know it will be a learning experience for and I'm happy to be here.
