I have been searching for 5th Gen Camaro and I am still in debates on whether to go with the LS or SS. I can't find that good of a deal on an SS and plus my insurance will be much higher as I am young and single. Plus I need to make a daily commute of 60 miles so I could use the extra MPG's of the LS. So my question is can I modify the V6 to have dependable power and get around 400 Hp. Or should I just save up and find an SS. Thanks

 

Sounds like you are concerned about saving money. You can do things to the V6 to improve performance, but 400 hp is a bit out of the question. If you can't afford an SS then why put yourself under the gun. Stay within your budget and remember it is still a Camaro and you can be happy with that.
