Hey guys, need advice.
I just got a early 90's chevy 1500 single cab. it needs alot of work needs new ignition, inside door panels, right side back fender needs to be replaced. and on top of that the motor is blown, but when i picked it up it came with another 350 in the bed of the truck. i plan to re-build the motor that is in the bed. i want to be pushing close to 350 horses. i am semi new to this. i have worked on these motors before, but never rebuilt one. money isnt a problem, any advice would be great. thanks guys. oh yea ill put some pics up later.
Wow, there is so much you can do to get that power. I say you at least are going to want to put a fender well intake on up top, and probably at least a 3" inner diameter exhaust system. I am not sure what the stock one is. I would also put a high flow cat on. I REALLY like the way that the Borla exhaust system, cat-back, sounds. If money isn't an object then I would say go with that. You could put a supercharger on that, you could go turbo with it. What are you looking for besides that kind of horsepower? Any special reason why you want that?
