Hi everyone, I'm new here and trying to get some help on a 2004 Chevy Suburban. Not sure how to post questions in the forum area so though I'd post it here if I'm not to post questions please let me know.

Here is the trouble I'm having I need to know how to disable the program power driver seat? See when I'm driving if I go to put the window down I sometimes hit the button and while driving the seat starts moving and it puts you right up to the steer wheel and if you don't hit the button fast enough your on the wheel. So I need to know how to disable it before it causes me to have a wreck so hope someone can help me!

A simple way is to disconnect the wires from the button.

 

Thanks for the information. How do you disconnect the wires for the buttons on the door? Also if I do this will it cause the buttons on the seat to not work either? Because I want the ones on the seat to work just not the one on the door.The door one is the one I'm scared is going to cause use to have a wreck while driving.
