Hi, my name is Chad and like most that join fourms I have an question right off the bat, I have a 2002 Cavalier ls sport. It had the 2.2 engine with the Vin: F. The timing chain guide recently broke and I had a question, I'm not sure if the car jumped time or not. But if it did are the 2.2 vin:F motors interference?

Will do, I think I will just buy the timing kit and water pump. Also should I replace the balance shaft? And then if I find the head is messed up I'll just pick one up from somewhere and hope the piston isn't cracked.
