hi im kendal n i have a red 1997 chevrolet cheyenne 1500 2wd ext cab with a 4.3 v6 vortec with the 5 speed manual trans. i have had this thing for 7 months and was my first vehicle. i love this thing. im not afraid to drive it and i have to give props for chevy building such a dependable truck. it has 235,000 miles on it with the origional motor and runs awesome, i have put 18,000 miles on it so far, it has never broken down on me, i have redlined it multiple times cuz like i said im not afraid to drive it and what teenager isnt gonna "drive" their first vehicle, im also pickey when it comes to oil i only use the best. for example it costs about 65 bucks for my oil changes i only use royal purple synthetic and K&N's oil filter. i have had the oil pan of the motor and it was clean as could be i wanted to cry. no deposits or sludge or anything. I want to put power adders on it but not really sure cuz of getting a different truck later on but let me tell you i raced my bro against his 98 dodge ram (2wd) with the 360 and beat him by haaaalf a length in a quarter mile. beleive it or not the only performance thing on my truck is the flowmaster muffler haha. and its not even dual. the flowmaster sounds good by the wayn even with the v6 .
