Howdy frome the KC, MO region. I've got my self a gass-guzzling, hippy eating 1988 Chvyy C2500. 2wd, single cab, long bed. 350 V8, 700r4 transmition, 14 bolt open diff. rearend. Its powered with Honda civics, Toyota Prius',... oh, and lots of gas. I love it. Plane and simple, I love it. I've got the luxurious interior with the 3 person bench and power windows/locks (all I need). The bench will be going soon for some buckets. Just havent had time to put them in yet. Its had its problems, but I like to think of it as a "experement", if you will. I do ALL the work my self. If I dont know how, I have my buddy's ASE certified dad supervize me. Not scared at all to tear into this thing either. Its pretty well bullet proof as long as you keep the fluids up, and parts are cheap and easy to find, exept for a new return fuel line, I'm not shure if new ones exist, seriously. I spent ALOT of money looking for a new one and I just gave up after I recieved the wrong part like 5 times. Anyway, here is some pics of what I've done to it.

Great that you love Toyota Prius because others don't. A lot of people really don't like the Toyota Prius, for a variety of reasons. It's glacially slow, remarkably practical and boring in equal measure and so on. However, that may be more benefit than bane as vehicle thieves concur, as evidenced by remarkably low Prius robbery rates.
