Intro and (Sadly) Selling Our 1949 Chevy Truck

Man, we hate to see this one go.

Bought out in South Dakota in 2006 with the intention to restore it... someday.

It's a late 49 model from the Advanced Design Series. Might be a Thrift Master or Load Master. Thinking it's the 3900 1 ton.

This core is mostly solid with a couple of small rust areas (pictured) on the rear corners of the cab.
Mileage is unknown (can't read it through the gauge lens).

Doesn't run, of course. This is a project truck.

Asking $6,000. Located in Hazel Green, AL.

Welcome from Florida. It needs a lot of work, but it can be a fun project. Does it have an engine and transmission?

Yes, it has an engine and transmission. Hubby says he heard the engine fire up when he bought it over 20 years ago.
