just got a new truck ( well new to me)
i just got a 2002 Chevy K2500 with the 8.1/Allison. so far i love the truck. i sold my 94 Chevy with the 6.5 diesel to get a Ford. i am very political and love the fact that they did not take government money. i got a 2004 F250 with the 5.4 and hated it. i sold it and went back to Chevy. not happy about the money thing but i had to go with the better truck. i am sure there is a rule about politics on here so i will stop there. i have a couple questions about the tires and Allison transmission i will get into later. also i am a little new to computers and can't spell worth squat.

it has more power than i thought it would have. i figured that they would have it choked down but at the same time i thought that it may not be with having the Allison. after test driving it i was impressed. the Ford 5.4 was getting 10 in the city and 13 on the highway and had no power. now i will have to see what the gas mileage is in this truck. i figure it will be the same as the ford was but with 3 times more power and a good transmission to back it up.
