Lady in Distress/99'Tahoe

I have a 99' Tahoe 5.7liter, it has a bad power steering pump replaced after sitting 6 months, no start. So after new battery and alternator it isn't getting fuel. But I hear the fuel pump and gas pulling in tank. After 20+ trys it seems to get gas 2.2 seconds. HELP A LADY IN distress.
