Thumbs up mech-tard

howdy!

JD here. always wanted a late 70's / early 80's chevy truck, and I finally have one! problem is, the straight six it came with locked up, so I bought a 305 for $100 from a buddy. I've been tearing it down for the last few months. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I have a shop manual, Internet access, and buddies who race dirt track, so I'm in good shape, I suppose.

finally got the block stripped down, and am gonna start building it back up, hopefully before winter. I've been riding my sporty for the last two years, rain or shine, and I'm about sick of numb fingers.

anywho, thanks for havin' me!

Welcome JD. If you got big enough.....well you know what I mean....to ride a Hog in winter, then you certainly deserve our respect and help when and however we can give it. A numb thumb is all the excuse anyone needs to get inside. Enjoy the forum and ask lots of questions.
