Default My Intro, I guess

Just wanted to say hello, Iam Mike from Costa Mesa , I have a white 03 Silverado 6.0 2500 HD ex cab long bed & a black 4 door 04 Tahoe( for the wife) fully loaded with a 5.3

I am an unelployed Amusement ride mechanic/tech ( roller coasters, kids rides,go karts, etc..) I was the Director of Maintenance for the last 7 years. The company folded and were back home in Cali now. I spent 15 years in the industry. Now I am a stay home dad with my 3 kids and the wife is in marketing. I do side jobs here and there , it keeps me going pretty good. My feilds are mechanics , hydraulics, controls, computers,etc..

I enjoy forums of all kinds and will be checking in here more often, lots of good info and good laughs too. I like to solve problems and dont like to see people get ripped off. Fourms like this can help people save $$ and help you learn what the Mechanics/Dealers ( the bad ones) dont want you to know.

Heres a few pics of my truck and my lil scanner.

I didnt get a T-shirt, cheap ****ers! I actually need one that says "Corporate America- Been there done that" I am actually glad in a weird way that I was laid off. I make almost just as much doing side jobs and only work about 3 days a week. Sure beats dedicating your life day & night to a company for $75,000 a year. Now I have more time for the kids and my hobbies.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
