Aye my beautiful Chevy vatos. I’m originally from Daytona Beach Florida but now I live in Fillmore California. I recently purchased an 02 suburban z71 trim and I love everything about it. But with 312000 and counting miles on the odometer I’m just trying to see what issues I can relate to with this beast. Surprisingly with the lm7 5.3 it’s not as bad on fuel mileage as I thought it would be. I bought the truck for $800 and the only code is the p0449 which I’ve found is pretty easy to fix. My main issue is the suspension. I’ve tried to adjust the torsion bar and it seems to just get further apart from leveling out . And my airbag suspension I’ve noticed are completely blown out but other then that of course it leaks oil from multiple ends . I spend nearly as much in oil as I do in fuel but besides those issues this truck runs great. No ticks or anything that really concerns me . So yeah I can’t wait to see what some solutions are to take care of these issues to get this thing back in order. Oh and I was recently given another lm7 from a 00 Silverado for free so I’m thinking just doing a rering and making it all fresh again and more then likely even swapping from the 312000 mile engine that’s in it now.
