I'm new to all forums as well as Chevy Forum, so I'm not sure what a lot of the lingo means. i joined because I am in the middle of a project of putting the 3.8L, 4l60E from a 2000 Camaro (wrecked with 605 mile on the spedo) into my 50 Chevy 3100. I have read the rule and pretty much understand them. I"m having a problem getting the radio to work, so I'll search around the site to find a place to ask for help.
Thanks Jamie

Welcome Jamie. Does that 3100 have the torque tube driveshaft or did those come with an open driveshaft? Just interested and would love to see some pics too.

Thanks Adrian for the welcome!!

Gwampa, it came with a torque tube, but that has been long gone. I have the entire running gear from the Camaro it it now. I just got the sheet metal back from painting and am in the final assembly. I have the cab, bed sides, front and rear fenders back on her. Trying to finish up all the ends of the wiring so I can get the doors, windows, A/C, bed wood, running boards and interior. I don't have any pictures except the ones of the parts as I tore it apart. I'll be making some soon and will post a few. Been quite a project I've spent the last 2 years on since retiring from the Army.

I figured the radio problem out myself. When I cut the body control module out of the wiring harness, one of the wires from the module feeds power to the radie fuse, jus jumped over to an accessory wire.
