I just registered today. I found this sight after looking for some troubleshooting for my wife's 98 Malibu. As you can tell by my ID, I'm from Texas and I work on phone systems. My experience in cars is not much. I have done tuneups, changed rotors (after my brothers showed me how) and other easy stuff. I have even replaced valves in a 351 Cleveland in a 73 Torino I had with the help of a Chiltons manual. Usually, I ask my brother's for help. They are all car nuts from way back (I'm the geeky one in the family). Right now, they are out of town working and can't help. I'm glad to have found a site like this.
