Hey all,

I am new to this forum, But as of now I have a 1990 ford ranger. Yeah I am a ford guy.

I use to have a 1986 6.2l suburban 4x4 and all. But that truck went down hill after, someone drained the oil on me.

I am trading my truck for a 89 700r4-overdrive, 6.2l 4x4 suburban, has a great body on it too.


I am just curious what y'all think of those trucks, I have owned one and loved it. But does the 700r4 mean its a 4 speed? Id prefer a 4 speed. If I get this truck, all in good time, I plan to put a 6.9 turbo duramax in it. I was going to do that with my old burban, bought the body was rusted out, so I didn't see the point in it.

Anyway, looks like a decent forum.

appreciate it, But sadly I am not getting it. Would like to stay on this forum though. Y'all seem pretty nice, compared to the ford forum I was on. But I do plan on getting another old diesel burban asap! This guy that owns this truck, Said Id have to trailer it home. Sooo, I don't think I will get it. I'd hate to trade a reliable truck for a truck that doesn't run. Thanks everyone.
