I've got a 2004 Silverado standard cab short step bed and I think it's great. I'm liking it more and more as the years go on and I think it looks better than the new ones! I'm retired and living out here on the left coast, central Calif. I do have a problem with mice chewing on wires so please check my thread in the truck section if you can help. Now I'm on the warpath with those not so cute evil little rodents. Made a revolving wheel of mouse doom involving a ramp baited with peanut butter, a 5 gal. bucket, and a coffee can on an axle also with peanut butter on it. Simple but effective!

Been a Chevy guy for a long time ever since I lucked onto one of those old fiberglass ones in '93. Had a couple of Elcos from the 60s too. And a '64 Malibu convert at one time. Basically just a car guy.
