Default New guy from havasu (arizona)

I HURT MY EYE DOING MAINTAINCE ON MY 1982 C10 A WHILE SO I USE CAPS TO HELP KEEP MY EYE FROM STRAINING PLEASE DONT THINK IM YELLING GUYS

WELL...ILL START OUT BY TALKING ABOUT MY SELF ***OH BOY***

"MY FIRST CAR" WAS A 1982 HARLEY SPORTSTER THAT IVE PUT OVER 7,000 MILES ON HERE IN HAVASU, "STILL HAVE IT JUST THEYRE DOING SEWER WORK IN FRONT OF MY HIGHSCHOOL"(I GET PRE TENNDERIZED IN THE MORNING) I LIKE DOING MAINTAINNENCE ON VEHICLES CASUE ITS FUN.... AND IM CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE SAME 1982 C10 THAT BROUGHT ME HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL 18 YEARS AGO

IM WAITING TILL I TURN 18 IN APRIL TO GO GET MY LICSENCE TO DRIVE A "VEHICLE"

I DONT HAVE ALOT OF EXPIERENCE PLAYING WITH THE INTERNALS OF A MOTOR ***YET*** "GETTING AROUND TO FIXING A 69 BOAT MOTOR ONE DAY "

THIS MAY SOUND KINDA FUNNY BUTT MY DAD DOESNT HAVE THE MOST EXPIERENCE WITH INTERNAL ENGINE STUFF BECAUSE HES MOSTLY USED CHEVY ALL HIS LIFE AND NEVER HAD TO DO SERIOUS REAPIRS(NOTHING EVER BLEW).... AND BEING WERE NOT HORSEPOWER CRAZY WE DONT DO MUCH OVERHALLING "EVER"

I HAVE A PLAN TO FIX THE ONLY 2 THINGS WRONG WITH THE C10 AND THATS TO SWAP THE TIRES TOMORROW SO WE CAN FINALLY GET IT ROLLING AND THEN TO GRAB A REBUILD KIT FOR THE CARB "ITS SHOT"...

THATS THE ONLY THING I NEED TO DO...........

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, I DO WANT TO AFTERWARDS GET ALL THE TRIM OFF THE TRUCK "DESERTAFIDE" A.K.A. ROTTEDDD TO **** AND MAYBE SNAG SOME OFF THE INTERNET

I ALSO HAVE FAVORITE WAY TO PAINT, AND THATS ROLLING ON INDUSTRIAL PAINT IT MAY SOUND ODD BUTT IVE SEEN TRAILERS,TRUCKS, ROCKCRAWLERS THAT HAVE HAD THIS DONE AND ITS UNNOTICEABLE"AND CHEAP"

I WAS TAUGHT TO NEVER RUN ANYTHING HARD...... AND THAT MAY BE WHY MY DAD HAS NEVER HAD TO FIX A BLOWN MOTOR BEFORE......
HE LEARNED SOME STUFF WHEN IN HIGHSCHOOL BUTT THEN HE WORKED HIMSELF TO DEATH TO PUT FORMULA IN MY MOUTH SO ALL THAT STUFF WENT OUT THE DOOR

I JOINED TO FIND INFO ABOUT THE MOTORS... IM NOT CURIOUS IF CHEVY IS DEPENDABLE (DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH) BUTT JUST LOOKING INTO SOME EXPLODED VIEWS OF THING AND MAYBE AN ONLINE MANUAL"IF POSSIBLE"

ANYWAYS ILL SPEND SOME TIME CHECKING OUT THE SITE

PS...

(I CONSIDER MYSELF A "PROFESIONAL HALF @$$" AND MY DEFINITION OF THAT IS FIXING THE PROBLEM CORRECTLY BUT NOT OVER DOOING IT) (ID RATHER HAVE A HEALTHY/WELL MAINTAINED/ AND GOOD RUNNING 305 THEN TO HAVE A FULLY OVER HAULED ENGINE) THATS JUST ME

Welcome.

If you have trouble reading the text on the site, you need to use a larger font instead of typing in all caps.
When you post a reply, don't use the quick reply, click "Go Advanced"
. You can also adjust your browser font size from the internet options. If you are a mac user, utilize the "control+scroll" quick zoom function. Windows also has a control scroll(mouse wheel) function that increases and decreases the font size, but only the font size.

IS THE WRITING IN CAPS A BIG DEAL ??? "AGAINST POLICY"

IVE NOTICED WITH SOME SITES THEY JUST DONT LIKE IT, I WAS FIGURING IN MY CASE MAYBE I COULD GET A SLIDE BY ???

IF NOT, ITS NO BIGGIE..... THE CAPS ARE JUST EASIER TO READ FOR ME

I just think it would make more sense to increase your type size.
I don't see where it could help you out much except when you type your replies, but you still have to read others' posts that are in the default size.

There aren't any rules about it on this forum, however.
