Any information would be greatly appreciated. I think it’s worth a lot more than what I could buy it for but not sure.

Couldn't tell you for sure, but it's one _sweet_ looking engine. It sure isn't the Big-Block 1969 366 cubic inch (6.0L) motor, that I use to wrench on when I was a much younger man, that's for sure. I wouldn't mind stuffing that nice engine in my 1998 K-1500 at all.

But 540 HP? Even at 9.6 to 1 compression ratio, you'll not see that kind of HP out of that engine. 400-450 HP, maybe. If you can afford it and all the gasoline it will use, I'd go for it. Thanks be to General Motors, I don't see a SMOG pump on that beauty of a GM engine!.

Welcome to the forum. It looks like a Chevrolet crate engine to me. If you can get some part number information on it, you could check with a Chevy parts department.
