New Guy from SC
Hi ya'll, I have a real mixed bag vehicle. It is a 1952 3100 pick-up. It has a camaro suspension and a 1970 400 SBC with 1989 5.7 heads, intake, TBI, ECM and surpentine drive. Tranny is a 700R4 and 10 bolt rear. Interior has Camaro pedals steering wheel and seats all the rest 1952 stuff. I'll be needing help I know so glad to know ya'll will be here.

HP estimate
The 400 was originally 260 HP, but the change to swirl port heads and a 480 CFM TBI isn't helping any, so with the headers I'm guessing 240? I researching the possibility of a big block TBI swap for more power, but without upgrading the heads that would probably help less than stellar. Any suggestions.

Might try a carb manifold w/ a Q-jet. Got to be better than a restrictive TBI. Not sure what the valve size is on those heads but could but some big valve heads on it and headers. From there you're probably talking cam and pistons.
