Default New here... Chevette owner for a year now.

Hi my name is Will, and I own a Chevette.....

I bought my 1978 Chevette about a year ago, in the town of Cobilskill, NY. for $400.00. It is a GM 69L Beechwood Brown 2 Door, with an original L-17 1-bbl Carburetor, and a THM-180C 3 speed automatic.

So far I have replaced all the brakes, front and rear including brake lines, I have replace the floor pans (with alot of help from dad), and as of now The top end of the motor is being rebuilt (the head is at the machine shop)

I do all my own work, as I am currently a student in an automotive tech half-day course through my high school.

Always wanted to see a Chevette built-up. Welcome to the forum. I'd like to see some pics too.

My dad had a 78 Chevette about 14 years ago, it was a fun car, we rebuilt the engine, it was one of my first lessons in engine repair.
