I'm a long time Chevy enthusiast and encouraged my Father to switch to Chevy. He had been a Chevy man but started buying AMC and Plymouth in the early '70's but wasn't happy with them. As a 13 year old, I told him he needed to buy a Chevy. He bought a new Chevy Pickup in 1978 and has owned Chevy's ever since.Through the years, I've built many small block Chevy engines and Q-Jet carbs. I'm currently working on my 1979 El Camino. I built a 1965 block small journal 327 and changed it from Automatic to Muncie 4 Speed. It's my weekend trash hauler, to be driven; not to be a show truck. I bought my 17 year old son a 1993 S-10 4.3 V6 for Christmas as his first vehicle. I enjoy reading posts and helping others with my experiences and I'm always open for answers to my own questions.
