New member need help asap
hi, my name is magy, I just found this site and thought it might be very helpful.
We had purchased a 2003 Chevy suburban that needed a new fuel pump. We replaced the fuel pump after having trouble finding the correct fuel pump connector. We tried it and now it won't even start. I've researched the probable cause and found that it might be faulty wiring. The old connector was flat and has colored wiring. The new connector is squared and only has white wires. So I was wondering if anyone has a color code diagram? Or does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thank you very much.

Certain pumps/years came with a pigtail that had a larger gauge wire to help prevent burning up the terminals, usually the new pigtail has colored wiring and there is usually a guide/diagram in the package with the pump assembly and pigtail. Not sure why you had to get it separately?
