I just bought a 1995 Chevy 2500 Cheyenne 3/4 ton 2WD truck this afternoon as a project truck for my 14 yr old son. It was a work truck in its previous life and has 245,000 miles on the odometer. It runs smooth but the tranny shifts a little rough in spots.


We are going to fix the cosmetic issues with the truck along with the mechanical/interior issues during the next year or so and by the time he gets his license, he'll have a nice ride to run around in.


Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I will be looking at a lot of posts throughout the forum as we embark on our journey of transforming this word truck into a decent ride for him moving forward.
