Cleaned up nice.
Lots of cleanup left inside.
Just shoot me. I decided I needed something to haul people and do some light towing. Found this 98 1500 on CL. They were asking $1,800.00 and I got it for $1,000.00. Needed tires; put a set of slightly used ones on it for $418.00. Had a growling noise up front while driving that the PO said was a wheel bearing. Swapped it out. That wasn't it, so I'm probably looking at a new transfer case or something. Runs smooth, two year old tranny, 232k. PO had it since 2004. I'm a glutton for punishment.

I'm here for the party
welcome from maryland. check the fluid level inside the transfer case to see if there is even any in it. on some of these t-cases the pump can rub a hole in the case causing it to lose fluid. if it was ran dry this could cause some other issues
