Just joined yesterday, I just purchased my 3rd chevy truck. I had a 2000, i now currently have a 1980 C10 Bonanza edition in great mechanical shape and this weekend I just purchased a 1988 Scottsdale shortbed stepside for my daily driver. Since it has AC and heat lol.

I do currently have my c10 for sale so if there's anyone in Eastern NC looking then check it out.

Look forward to this forum being available for troubleshooting questions as well as upgrade questions. As far as I can see so far should have no problem in that area. Looks like a great group of people.

My 88 has the 305 5.0 v8 in it with a 5-speed. It can be seen in my avatar. Love the truck so far. had to replace the fuel tank (seller forgot to mention there was a hole in it...) but other than that I have found no issues.

haha Well i was born in 88 always wanted a truck from my birthyear. The truck drives great and so far i'm in love. Does need some freon though been trying to find if it will take the 134 or if it's 12 :/ not been to big of an issue though.

Also, smokes some when it cranks up. Any ideas what that could be?
