New owner of a 2003 trail blazer
Hello all,
I just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. My name is marc and my parents came to see me and my wife for thanksgiving and surprised us with a new to us trailblazer. We love the truck and only have a few problems with it right now such as the oil gage being pegged at 80psi and it sucking gas like its water but other then that we are very pleased so far. I'm part of other forums and have found them to be very helpful and have made lots of new friends and hope that the same will happen here.

I also had an 03 Trailblazer till last year. It was not very good on gas mileage. Usually around 15 mpg. There was a recall on the gauges from 03 till 06 on most GM vehicles. Unfortunately the Trailblazer was not included and I had to repair the gauges. Dealer wanted $600.00 to repair it. The stepper motors that operated the gauges are faulty. They will all go bad so its better to repair all 6 of them at one time. If you can solder then you can do it yourself. I bought the 6 stepper motors on Ebay and the rest was fairly easy to do.
Thanks for the heads up on the gauges from what I've read online that seams to be the only major issue the trailblazer has which is fine by me as long as it will serve its purpose of hauling the family around for many years I'll be happy lol
