Hey, just picked up a 99 savana 2500 w/ 150k on it, I don’t know anything about this 5.7 (vortec?) or anything else yet for that matter, but van os in decent shape, no milk in oil or funky noises.. we ll see!
want to turn this into a camping mobile and haul kids and dirt bikes to desert (I think the bikes will fit with one bench left in the van, nice).
first thing I want to do is change the head unit, I notice it’s an odd size?? (Not quite double din, and a separate CD slot underneath). Sound is pretty good but no Bluetooth.. with kids.. yea.. will do a search I’m sure loads of info on there.

Welcome and check out Crutchfield. They have so many radios available that you should be able to find what you need.. You will find that once everything is apart that it actually is a double din.
