hello everyone. im new to the site and oowm a 1999 chevy with a vortec 5.7L hope to learn new and exciting things

 

Well, the 5.7 liter motor doesnt have the piston slap the early 5.3 liters did. Thats a big plus in my book. Keeping my 98 K-1500 as long possible. Too many issues
with new vehicles, and not simply GM, but all of the brands. Quality Control is DOA it would seem these days. That and cheap Asian parts that fall apart easily.
