Hello, I'm Krista. I have a 2005 Trailblazer that, for a few months, has had small power lags where the engine would skip mildly & AC would slow, get warm & immediately come right back. Just an every now & then thing. Then a few days ago it started skipping & surging bad, RPMs would drop out, then, surge back & forth & would straighten out & run ok for a few miles then start over again with engine dying periodically while idling & driving. Now the oil pressure low, stop engine message is coming on. Any help would be appreciated.

Is this when the engine stumbles/dies you have the light? If so, it's a problem with the engine dieing. Should be a DTC set, can you get a code reader, or get it read?
