Old Chevy Guy, New to Forum
Hello all my name is; Jim.
GM put alot of food on our family table as a child when growing up in the 1950s & 60s. My dad worked for the local chevy dealer in E. Texas (East Texas Motor Company) for 37 years and was their service manager for 27 of those years.
I built many of my first cars while still in high school (All Chevrolets). Never bought a running vehicle (or at least one not needing major work) the first 5-6 years of driving, then not a new one until 1982. Got into aircraft restorations but never lost that love of tinkering with a Chevy or two!
Learning alot from the blogs, thanks to all.
Regards,
Jim
