Default OnStar , GPS and WiFi not working

I have a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ and within the last month my GPS , OnStar and WiFi just stopped working . Even pressing the OnStar button , nothing happens , even resetting the infotainment system from the button on steering wheel doesn’t help. So I called OnStar and they tried to send a signal to my truck to reset it, but that wouldn’t work either. They gave me a work order number to give to the dealership that I was gonna take my truck to to get fixed. Went yesterday to Goodwins Chevrolet and was there for 3 hours to be told that they didn’t know what was wrong and that I would have to come back when there main electric GM mechanic was there . And my bill was 250 dollar , no lie. Couldn’t believe what I was hearing and seeing

Welcome to the forum. Isn't it still under warranty? You need to post your question in the Silverado section of the forum where you will get more views. This is the Welcome New Members section.

You could check if there are any software updates available for your infotainment system through the Chevrolet website or the myChevrolet app.

I do not know for sure the answer but There is entire forum about on-star wi-fi not working. My guess would be it is something related to billing. Like they think you plan had expired or it not properly funding on AT&T side. On-star collects two payments one for its own plan (~30$) and one for data plan (~15$). So both of them should be active to get wifi working.

How much did you end up paying in the end? Were you able to get it all sorted out? If you’re still having trouble, I’d recommend checking with partszilla to see if they can help. Those guys are fantastic—highly skilled and known for their attention to detail. They’ve helped a lot of people with tricky fixes, and they might be just what you need to get things resolved. Let me know how it goes, and I hope you’re able to find a solution soon
