Default SBC Intake Manifolds

Hi, I'm new to this site. It looks very cool. Anyways, I have a 1970 Z-28 with a '69 327 and a 4-speed. I think the rear is 3:23. I am looking to dress up the engine bay a little bit. My question is this, currently the car has a Torker II intake with a 600cfm edelbrock carb. The car seems to rev very quickly and at high rpm's. I've been told that is a trait of the 327, but not sure if that's true. Anyways, I was looking at going to a performer RPM possibly and was wondering if I would see any difference in the way the engine revved or not. The Performer RPM's power range is 1500-6500 rpm's, where as the torker II is 2500-6500. Also, the Torker II is a single plane manifold. I'm not sure of all the engine specs, as it was rebuilt by the previous owner. Any thoughts that you chevy experts may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!
