i have a 1990 1500 silverado 5.7L V8 its my first vehicle i know quite a bit about cars but ive heard so many different opinions on this subject so some more opinions might help, i have a gaping hole in my exhaust manifold it sounds obnoxious as hell but im not mad, except the gas part i wonder if im doing any harm to my truck, it seems to run good still, it was -25 today with the windchill and it started right up, shes never let me down so id hate to let it be wrecked by something so simple to fix thanks guys
