I have an 09 chevy aveo, it turns over but wont start. Then it goes into the shop and starts. Now it won't start but turns over help me plz. They ha e no clue whats going on. The check engine light is not on. It turns over like normal but didn't start for 7 days. Took it to the shop and it started everytime. Now once again its not starting.

 

Welcome from Florida. Is the check engine light on? If so check the code as this will help in finding the problem. Please post as much information on the problem as possible because what you did post is not enough.

Check for spark when you are cranking it. Also spray some starter fluid or gas into the throttle body and see if it runs for a few seconds. This will tell you if the problem is electrical or fuel. You can also do a fuel pressure check.

when you took the car to the shop, you said they were able to start it and it turned over? but now that you have it it does not turn over? sounds really weird. any lights coming up? maybe call them up and ask them what they did specifically?
