I just bought a 2007 Trailblazer, and found out that the ignition swich does not move to the accessory position the steering column does not lock and the key in ignition and lights alarm does not work. any ideas on the problem?

Welcome to the forum 
If its been a while since you have owned a new model vehicle, the acc mode is now forward in the key rotation not back like it used to be....
As for the steering wheel locking that is also removed...
