Hi everyone. I'm new here and dont know to much about this transfer case n really cant find to much aboit it. I got a 1997 chevy 2500 3/4 ton. It has the 6.5 diesel and the automatic 4l80e transmission and the transfer case number is 243 so I'm not sure what the difference is between a 243c and so on if in can use that or not. And the transfer case is push button 3 2wd,4lo,4high. And insight would be helpful thanks

I think 243c is for a Chevrolet, 243dr is for Dodge Ram etc. Likely they just have different adapter pieces matching whatever transmission output and splines/flanges those vehicles have.
