I am new to the forum so if this has already been discussed I apologize. I have a 2012 crew cab 5.3L silverado. I have been looking at putting a cold air intake and exhaust on it. I have been looking at Flowmaster, Magnaflow,And Borla exhaust. Does anybody have any prefrences and are any of them better than the other. The local muffler shop does not recomend Borla at all. He said that they have seen problems out of the Borla before the Flowmaster and Magnaflow. I am going to go with cat back duel out configuration. My end result is hoping to improve gas mileage as well as better sound. Any advise and or suggestions is appreciated.

 

I know a guy here with Borla S-Type and its sounds awesome. Flowmaster 10 series is also another great option. Volant or Afe CAI should do good with yours. I know 4WheelOnline give good rebates on Afe intake
